What I truly want it's Independence LOST.

Today America celebrates the Independence Day... but, this is not a happy day for eveyrbody.
For England / Arthur Kirkland is the worst day of the year. 240 years ago, in 1776, America / Alfred Jones declarated his Independence from him and started a war against him. 
That day all of Arthur's hopes and dreams died with many soldiers who fought by his side and anything has never been like before, anymore.
England will always be the one who suffers the most because of the rebellion of America and he has never be the same after that war. He lost a friend... but aboveall, he lost his brother.
America... he's too young to know how much pain lives in England's heart and his youth, his happiness and his pride make him blind in front of every silent scream Arthur shouts inside himself.
Arthur is such a great character to me. I love him because we are so similar and I can always see a part of myself when I look in his green, beautiful eyes. 
I'm not American, I'm not English... I'm Italian and this is not a festivity I celebrate, but today it has been a sad day to me, thinking how England could have felt so bad all day long (or well, a week before, as he said in a strip: he can't eat, either he can't sleep...).
I hope you'll like my draw, I put many of my feelings and effort in it.

The word behind him is "Freedom". America's freedom is England's cage.
